THE POUR OVER METHOD has been embraced by the specialty coffee scene in recent years, if you haven't tried it yet, here is a quick guide to make it at home.

WHAT IS IT?

Pour Over is simply the technique of hand-pouring the water over the coffee.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT?

Pour Over accentuates intricate flavors when compared to other brewing methods.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

BREWING DEVICE or DRIPPER: it is a the piece of equipment that holds the coffee filter and grounds. There are many popular choices available on the market. Pick the one that you like

FILTER: Paper (ideally 20-30% thicker) or cloth, it is up to you.

KETTLE: choose one that keeps the temperature stable

SCALE: if you’re looking for consistency, use it

COFFEE: single origins or specialty blends like ours!

POURING TECHNIQUE: Use 1gr of coffee for every 17gr of water. Adjust according to your preference. Add more coffee if you like your coffee stronger.

Start out simple.

Pour water in concentric circles, which helps to maintain a consistent flow of water. This method can be a great way to make your daily cup of coffee and it doesn’t have to be complicated.
